First ever PHF-wide equipment partnership begins in 2022-23

January 5, 2022 (Brooklyn, N.Y.) – The Premier Hockey Federation today announced a new multi-year agreement with Warrior to be the Official Hockey Equipment Provider of the PHF. The American sports equipment manufacturer becomes the first ever PHF-wide partner in the equipment category and will supply product for all six teams over the next two seasons, with a third-year option.

“Equipment partnerships are integral for professional leagues and for athletes to perform at their best,” said PHF Commissioner Tyler Tumminia. “Warrior has established their equipment line to be among the industry leaders and have stepped up to support professional women’s hockey in a way unlike any other manufacturer in our seven-year history. We’re excited that our momentum has led to this meaningful opportunity for our athletes who will raise their game with Warrior gear next season.”

Warrior produces sticks, helmets, gloves, pants, protective and goalie gear. The deal will also offer pass-through rights to New Balance for footwear. Players will be using the latest products from Warrior’s Covert and Alpha product lines along with the Ritual line of goal equipment and sticks, led by Warrior Pro Athlete, Kali Flanagan of the Boston Pride. Flanagan, who has been sponsored by Warrior for several years, will continue to be a featured athlete across Warrior marketing.

Warrior CEO, Cindy Abbott said, “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Premier Hockey Federation. This partnership allows us to connect with an incredibly talented group of female athletes to provide them with elite products and a customized performance based service level across the league. We are humbled to accept this opportunity to engage with the PHF, which will allow us to showcase our unwavering commitment to drive inclusion among all athletes within the global hockey community.”
