by PAUL KROTZ

The Players’ Association of the Premier Hockey Federation has elected Nicole Corriero as the Executive Director, effective immediately.

Corriero, a 3-time All-American, played hockey collegiately at Harvard University from 2002-05. She then went on to earn a JD at the University of Detroit Mercy Law School while acting as the Vice President of the JD/LLB Student Bar Association and the President of the UDM Sport and Entertainment Law Society. She is currently practicing as a Personal Injury attorney in Toronto, ON.

“I am thrilled to have been chosen for this role,” said Corriero. “I’ve enjoyed getting to know the players who are wonderful, dedicated professionals, as well as ownership and other staff members of the league. I look forward to working with everyone towards our common goal of helping the players, and the league realize their vast potential and doing our collective part in growing the sport of women’s hockey as a whole.”

The Players’ Association is excited to bring Nicole’s law and hockey experience together to help push the game, and this league, to new heights.
