March 28, 2022 (Brooklyn, N.Y.) – The Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) in association with DICK’S Sporting Goods today announced a partnership renewal for the 2022 Isobel Cup Playoffs naming the American retail company the presenting sponsor of the Isobel Cup championship post-game trophy presentation and MVP award. The final will be played March 28 at AdventHealth Center Ice near Tampa Bay, Florida at 9:00 p.m. ET airing live across North America on ESPN2 and TSN2.

“The very first champion of our new era will be crowned in Florida with the Isobel Cup and finals MVP presentations serving as a highpoint of this historic season,” said Tyler Tumminia, PHF Commissioner. “It’s extremely meaningful for our athletes when partners like DICK’S Sporting Goods recognize the significance of moments like this. We are excited to welcome them back for another special event and appreciate their continued support and commitment.”

The MVP of the Isobel Cup Final will receive $1,000 in gift cards from DICK’S Sporting Goods. Last season’s recipient was captain Jillian Dempsey of the Boston Pride who scored in the 4-3 triumph over the Minnesota Whitecaps. 2022 will mark the sixth time in PHF history where the Isobel Cup will be presented with past winners including Boston (2021, 1996), Minnesota (2019), Metropolitan (2018), and Buffalo (2017).

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Premier Hockey Federation and sponsor the Isobel Cup Playoffs for another year,” said Mark Rooks, Vice President Category Marketing and Partnerships. “At DICK’S we understand the importance of supporting female athletes at every level and are excited to support the league and their 2022 playoff series.”
